Keep Talking - Menopause Support Group
Safe welcoming space for women to share experiences, ask questions and build a supportive community.

South Side Stars
Join the PI and Glasgow Life for a week long project where young people aged 12 to 18 will work with professional theatre, vocal and dance coaches to create performances for our South Side Stars competition.
FREE for young people aged 12 to 18. Breakfast and lunch is provided.

Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is an annual event celebrating the city’s architecture, culture & heritage.
Each September Doors Open Day Festival brings together dozens of participants who throw open the doors of over 100 historic buildings, theatres, museum stores, factories, studios, breweries & more, across the city, to the public, for free.
Their mission is to increase civic pride among Glaswegians and to broaden awareness of the city’s rich built & cultural heritage at local, national & international levels.

Govan Community Cinema Presents: Migration
FREE ENTRY, just turn up on the night.
A family of ducks decides to leave the safety of a New England pond for an adventurous trip to Jamaica. However, their well-laid plans quickly go awry when they get lost and wind up in New York City. The experience soon inspires them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends, and accomplish more than they ever thought possible.

The Court of Neptune Exhibition
Lesley Logue/Sarah Taylor Exhibition in the Billiard Room
The exhibition, The Court of Neptune, provides a platform for artists Logue and Taylor to explore their family histories and their links to Govan. Logue’s father worked in the ship building industry, serving his apprenticeship at Fairfield Shipyard. Taylor’s father joined the merchant navy travelling between the UK and Australia on the passenger liner ORSOVA. The mutual family history linked to ships, sea, travel, industry and class acts as a starting point and dialogue between the artists.

Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special -- an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly -- and hilariously -- unprepared for such a task, but he'll give it his all nonetheless.

Old Govan Fair
This year, the Old Govan Fair celebrates its 268th anniversary. Starting with the procession at Fairley Street and the coronation of the new queen on Friday 7th June!
Lots of free entertainment at the PI from 3pm to 6pm. The crowing of the queen at 6pm and the parade at 7pm.

A World of Music
Discover A World of Music, as three talented groups perform an evening of live music from across cultures,
in local venues across Glasgow
ZOR are a group of fiery young musicians rapidly making a name for themselves as a leading modern Roma band. They regularly appear on prestigious stages around the UK.
Musicians in Exile presents a lively line up of diverse songs and tunes from asylum-seeking and refugee musicians.
Winners of the Danny Kyle Open Stage 2018, DLU are a trod fusion band from Glasgow. Gaelic and various other musical influences shape their original melodies.
Tickets for these concerts are just £5, and available from tour venues now.
